An open letter to the media, industry leaders, investors, public officials, and the public: read the record on the unpaid contractors of LaGrange and the pending litigation, verify it against the official sources, and act on what it shows — with scrutiny of the record, never harassment of anyone named in it.
A new feature page, Losing Remington, documents what has already been lost at Ilion, the promise made to LaGrange, the contractors whose recorded liens fill the Troup County books, and what the sworn complaint alleges about why — with the site’s usual line between recorded fact and allegation held throughout.
The site launches with: the full 65-page Verified Complaint in Ripley v. Soura, No. 26-CV-0369 (Troup County, Ga.) with online viewer and neutral summary; a source-cited case timeline from 2020 to present; a public-records index of recorded deeds, liens, and UCC filings with book-and-page references; factual profiles of the parties and entities in the record; and a two-century history of the Remington brand with public-domain archival imagery.
Christopher B. Ripley and Rip95 LLC v. Scott Soura, et al., No. 26-CV-0369, is accepted by the Clerk of Superior Court at 10:29 a.m. The 65-page verified pleading asserts eleven counts, including fraud, Georgia RICO, and voidable-transfer claims, against fourteen named and descriptively identified defendants; a jury trial is demanded. Its contents are allegations. Document page →
Roundhill Group LLC files Roundhill Group LLC v. Ripley, et al., No. 1:26-cv-00529-MN (D. Del.), asserting NDA-breach claims against Christopher Ripley, Mulford Waldrop, Frank D. Foley III, and Jack Foley and seeking emergency injunctive relief. The following day’s publicly noticed “Future of Remington” town hall at Del’avant in LaGrange is canceled, per the Verified Complaint (¶74). Filings from the Delaware docket will be added as obtained.
Planned additions include: the Delaware complaint and Docket 41 declaration; Exhibits A & B (the November 8, 2021 press releases); certified copies of the recorded liens and security instruments; responsive pleadings from the Troup County defendants when filed and available; and contributed historical materials for the archive.
